I'm at my mom's.
I just filed my tax return.
And I am only getting $101.10 back.
Fucking blah. If I were 25 or had popped out a kid, I would get $3,000. Why should I get more after being 25? Hypothetically, I would be out of college, probably with a decent job then. Now is the time when I would be a struggling student, who could then finally deviate from a ramen and grilled cheese sandwich diet. In reality, I'm just a bum, but getting away from the ramen would still be a plus.
But whatever. Whores and old people get more money. Congrats.
Anyway. To fix my CV joint will cost me a nice chunk of cash. $450 specifically. If you are unaware, I do not have $450. Right now I have $2.63.
I might be able to get the cash together, but I should be getting this tax return soon since I filed online and am getting it direct deposit. So I'm going to use that money to take the car to a mechanic to see if that really is the problem.
The sound my car makes is apparently similar to the sound you would hear when there's a problem with the motor mount, so let's hope that is the problem instead of the CV joint. The motor mount would be MUCH cheaper to repair, though if it isn't taken care of soon my engine could drop and pretty much destroy the car forever.
Either way I'll find out what's wrong, and if there are too many more problems aside from the fuel filter and CV or motor mount, I'm going to try and sell it for maybe a couple hundred bucks. If it's the CV joint, it will probably last a while before it actually goes out. Like I could just drive the car around town for a long time with no problems. But I think two entire days of driving would probably be the breaking point for it.
But anyway, I have until the 14th or 19th at my aunt's house. I forget which. And if that isn't enough time, I have a few place I could stay at for a few days at a time or something. But no one really has the means (monetary or otherwise) to put me up for too long. And I don't foresee getting an apartment here anytime soon. I could NEVER afford it. So be it by car or (let's hope not,) bus, I am going to Texas pretty much for sure. Unless I die or am rendered physically unable to.
But yeah, that's pretty much all that's been going on. I've been stressing out, smoking too many cigarettes and dying of boredom.
Also I wasted 15 minutes playing Shining Force before I got to a battle and discovered it's a strategy RPG with a battle system that makes my brain stab itself in true Strategy RPG fashion. I will never get that time back.
